IE University is seeking a Nurse to join the Medical Service. The primary responsibility for this position is to provide top-level medical care to the university members.

The IE University Nurse will report directly to the Medical Coordinator and your mission will be to provide primary care, help patients with different pathologies, carrying out health education for their day-to-day management, promoting motivation to change healthy lifestyle habits

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Segovia campus. Mornings from 8:30 a.m. – 15:30 p.m., hrs Monday to Friday. Temporary role to cover a medical leave.
 

Responsibilities

Your role as a Nurse will involve:
 
  • Providing front-line clinical attention for minor health concerns.
  • Performing basic procedures such as wound care and health assessments.
  • Identifying situations that require referral to external medical services or counseling.
  • Applying institutional health protocols.
  • Supporting health education and promoting healthy lifestyle habits.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Coordinating, when necessary, with other Student Services areas.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

 

  • Nursing Degree (homologated foreign titles + Collegiate in Spain)
  • More than 1 year of healthcare experience.

  • Fluent Spanish and mandatory high level of English (B2, C1 or equivalent).

  • Strong service orientation and excellent communication skills.
  • Emotional maturity and ability to handle sensitive situations.
  • Good organizational skills and comfort working autonomously.
