We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid - IE Tower, Segovia Campus, María de Molina, Pinar 18, Velázquez, etc.
 

Responsibilities

Your role as a Junior Manager will involve:
  • Supporting the monthly payroll process, including the collection, review and validation of payroll variables, absences, benefits, deductions and other employee-related information.
  • Coordinating with the payroll provider and reviewing payroll calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with established deadlines.
  • Supporting Social Security procedures, including employee registrations, terminations, contract variations, contribution data and the resolution of administrative incidents.
  • Assisting with employment contracts, extensions, amendments and other employee documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases, including new hires, departures, personal details, absences, leave, holidays and payroll-related changes.
  • Accounting for HR expenses, including payroll, Social Security contributions and employee benefit invoices.
  • Monitoring and processing invoices, payments, accounting entries, transfers and supporting documentation.
  • Preparing and issuing bank transfers, payroll payment files and other HR-related payments.
  • Monitoring bank transactions and supporting bank and accounting reconciliations in coordination with the Finance Department.
  • Supporting payroll-related tax and Social Security reporting and providing the required information to external advisers and internal stakeholders.
  • Managing employee benefits and liaising with insurance companies, banks and other HR suppliers.
  • Preparing regular reports, reconciliations and HR metrics using Excel and HR systems.
  • Responding to employees’ administrative, payroll and benefits-related queries in a clear and confidential manner.
  • Ensuring that employee information and documentation are handled in accordance with internal policies, data protection requirements and applicable labour regulations.
  • Providing general administrative support to the Human Resources Department and participating in HR improvement projects.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • Degree or vocational qualification in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
  • Around one to two years of experience in HR administration, payroll, labour administration or a similar position. Relevant internships will also be considered.
  • Basic knowledge of Spanish payroll, labour regulations, Social Security and personal income tax processes.
  • Experience working with payroll information, employee documentation, invoices or accounting records.
  • Fluency in Spanish and a professional working level of English.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and confidence working with databases and HR systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or another ERP system would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with payroll software, Sistema RED, SILTRA, Contrat@ or similar platforms would be desirable.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
  • A proactive, service-oriented and collaborative approach.
  • Ability to organize priorities, meet deadlines and communicate effectively with employees, suppliers and internal departments.
