We are seeking a dynamic Executive Director of Special Projects who excels in program management and possesses exceptional consultancy acumen or skills. This key position requires a hands-on approach and a deep involvement in operational details, while also maintaining a broad understanding of the program’s goals. The role involves creating and managing complex dashboards and having the foresight to supervise extensive educational programs from their inception to final delivery. Our ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing IE Executive Education programs for our corporate partners.

Responsibilities

Your role as a Executive Director will involve:

 

  • Program ProposalApply consulting skills to develop proposals that are in line with the corporate clients’ strategic goals and provide meaningful educational experiences, using the support of internal faculty and experience within the area. 
  • Client EngagementEngage consistently with clients, understanding their objectives and offering support throughout the program’s duration. Expert in navigating complex challenges and client dynamics to ensure a seamless and rewarding experience for everyone involved. 
  • Leadership & CoordinationDirect program planning and team coordinationSupport the team, academic directors, and faculty throughout the processes. It is key to be able to navigate in any type of company structures.  
  • Process InnovationEncourage the adoption of technology and data analysis to improve both client-facing and internal processes.  
  • Dashboard MasteryUtilize advanced dashboards to analyze complex data, guiding decision-making, and program improvements. 

 

Key tasks: 

  • Proposal DevelopmentCreate detailed program proposals that reflect a consultative approach, integrating insights and outlining content, structure, timing, and costs. 
  • Program ManagementLead the program’s planning and preparation, ensuring full collaboration with all stakeholders. Responsible on bringing structure and clarity of any situation to all involved stakeholders in the project. 
  • Operational Oversight: Manage the team’s administrative duties, ensuring preparations are data-driven and meet the highest standards. 
  • Program Delivery Assurance: Guarantee the smooth delivery of programs, with all materials ready and adaptable to any necessary changes. 
  • Reference within the teamSupporting the team on solving problems with the use of the existing resources or helping them develop new ones. 

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

 

  • master’s degree desirable. 
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. 
  • Experience in consultancy is highly valued, with a strong focus on strategic resolution, hands-on approach, operational skills, and client relations. 
  • Program management experience in complex projects is highly valued. 
  • Outstanding leadership capabilities, capable of guiding teams in complex projects. 
  • Team player within multicultural and multifunctional teams. 
  • client-centric mindsetwith a proven record of consultative support and successful outcomes. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Efficient and effective resource management. 
  • A zeal for technological innovation and continuous process improvement, with experience in implementing data-driven approaches. 
  • Proficiency in data management and analysis, with a flair for dashboard creation and utilization.
