Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University's Business School is looking for an Associate Director, Cross-Program Experience (CPX) to join its team!
 

The role of CPX’s Associate Director is transversal across the participating programs in IE Business School, with primary responsibilities related to postgraduate international exchanges and postgraduate Dual Degree programs of the Business School.

70+ outgoing term-long exchange students

75+ active exchange partner schools

6 short exchange programs per academic year

Responsibilities

Your role as an Associate Director will involve:

 

The activities and projects on which this CPX Associate Director will work are as follows; some responsibilities will be shared with other teammates:

 

Delivery of the Master’s-Level Dual Degree Student Journey

  1. Delivery of and innovation in the 5 DD touchpoints during each intake’s time at IE (support from CPX Team)
  2. Develop and continually improve both general and personalized communication with DD students through the relevant channels (to-date: online student guide, ServiceNow, Blackboard, student meetings, etc.) (support from Student Journey Manager and Coordinator)
  3. Carry out the Dual Degree Representative selection process, regular meetings, attention to needs that arise, etc.
  4. Management of Dual Degree student data and dissemination of up-to-date Information to all relevant program team contacts, Talent & Careers, and Admissions
  5. Suggest and coordinate improvements in the management of DD information in IE systems, contributing to a better flow of information and improved student experience, as well as automatization and digital transformation efforts
  6. Coordinate the DD course co-validation process with OPS, serving as the student-facing contact for related decisions (example: personalization of co-validations) and other questions that may arise affecting students.

The Outgoing Exchange Student Journey

Implement the outgoing term-long and week-long exchange campaigns to Business School students from the International MBA, Master in Management, and Master in Finance programs, in accordance with the strategy and negotiated terms communicated by the Executive Director and including the following primary tasks:

  1. Preparation of presentation and communication materials to be shared with students and program management
  2. In coordination with the Executive Director, design and delivery of information sessions
  3. Management of student expectations and personalized advice for interested students, along with escalation of special cases to the Executive Director as appropriate
  4. Management of the outgoing mobility platform within Atenea
  5. Communication with students at key points in the outgoing exchange journey
  6. Coordination of exchange slot negotiation and assignment processes
  7. Rigorous maintenance and follow-up of all necessary mobility data and documentation: selection process data and results, nominations to schools, exchange balance data, Learning Agreements (where applicable), grade and credit conversion, final surveys, documents for the Spanish Ministry of Education (where applicable), and contact with outgoing exchange alumni.
  8. Day-to-day contact with Partner Schools to ensure smooth communication about exchanges and resolution of any issues that arise
  9. Coordination of grade and credit conversion with the Executive Director and subsequent emission of final transcripts and diplomas with program teams (when applicable)
  10. Continual suggestions for improvement in terms of student experience and mobility processes

Incoming Short Exchange Coordination and Delivery

With the support of the CPX Team, the AD is responsible for the management of the planning, execution, and evaluation of the following incoming short exchange programs each academic year (initial distribution; subject to change depending on personnel availability):

  1. Singapore Management University MBAs
  2. NYU Stern MBAs
  3. Porto Business School MBAs

Tasks include:

  1. Serve as primary operational contact with the Partner School and Lead Faculty in the planning and coordination of the short exchange week
  2. With the CPX Assistant, coordinate the inclusion and planning of the week’s activities with both IE’s Planning Department and external providers as necessary
  3. With the CPX Assistant, supervise collection and management of student data in IE’s systems, in accordance with IE and GDPR regulations
  4. Manage general and personalized communication with student participants
  5. With the CPX Assistant and Lead Faculty, accompanying the student group during each program during key events: welcome activities, networking/cultural events, company visits, etc.
  6. Coordinate grading process with the Lead Faculty/professors/Partner School as necessary
  7. Coordinate student feedback process and post-mortem meetings to determine improvements for subsequent programs
  8. Supervision of and adherence to budget related to short exchanges

General:

  • Operational support for 5 key B-school events managed by the CPX Team
  • Occasional representation of IE on- and off-campus during institutional visits/conferences or short exchange programs
  • Support in digital transformation initiatives and identifying new opportunities for automation and digital transformation
  • Submission of data to IE Accreditations Team as related to outgoing exchange mobilities and Dual Degrees
  • Carry out transversal communications and training efforts regarding CPX initiatives
  • Management of relevant tasks and topics in the shared e-mailboxes
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree, Master's degree from a top university
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required (frequent interactions with students, external providers, partner schools, and occasional presentations are required)
  • High level of Office (especially Excel) proficiency required
  • Familiarity with different AI tools, including Copilot
  • Proficiency in project management
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience preferred
