Overview

Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University's IE Foundation is looking for an Associate Director, Corporate Projects to join its team!
 

The Associate Director's main responsibility will be to support IE Foundation's team in successfully developing and implementing fundraising activities and projects funded by corporate donors. 

IE Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the values of IE University through the creation of projects and resources aimed at improving the quality of education, the generation and dissemination of cutting-edge knowledge, the funding of scholarships for the development of young talent and the culture of giving back and social impact of our community. 

The department has grown in the last few years thanks to the support of IE community, donors, and corporate partners.  We have established new scholarship programs and fundraising campaigns to foster international talent. Additionally, through the efforts of our centers, observatories, and chairs, we have promoted the generation of cutting-edge knowledge in forward-looking areas such as sustainability, entrepreneurship, impact investing, employee well-being, in collaboration with significant international institutions and companies.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid - IE Tower.

Responsibilities

Your role as Associate Director will involve:

 

  • Contribute to the proactive identification of collaboration opportunities with corporate partners. 
  • Create proposals and other fundraising materials for potential corporate donors, gathering specific technical input from internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Contribute to relationship-building efforts with corporate partners, coordinating communications and touchpoints. 
  • Manage events from start to finish, including logistics, communications, materials, agenda development, and on-site coordination.  
  • Identify and implement improvement to processes and tools for fundraising activities and corporate relationship management. 
  • Coordinate agreement formalization with the Legal Department, external partners and other stakeholders involved. 
  • Monitor timelines, resources, and risks to ensure the effective delivery of projects. Proactively address any issues that may arise during the process. 
  • Manage essential administrative duties, including recruiting research assistants, tracking purchase orders, and invoicing external service providers. 

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

 

  • 2-4 years of professional experience. 
  • Experience in project management, donor or corporate relations is a plus. 
  • Excellent writing and presentation abilities for proposals and communications. 
  • Strong teamwork capability to build positive and productive relationships with a diverse range of internal stakeholders (faculty, legal, budget, marketing, etc.). 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage corporate stakeholders effectively. 
  • Self-driven with strong adaptability and ability to react quickly in fast-paced, dynamic environments 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Master's degree. 
  • Fluent proficiency in written and oral English and Spanish.
