We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join the Talent & Careers team on a temporary basis, covering a maternity leave. This role will support the Operations and Technology function, ensuring the smooth execution of key processes related to career services platforms, data management, and user support.

This is a highly data-driven role. The candidate will work extensively with Excel on a daily basis, managing and transforming data across systems. The ideal profile is comfortable handling large datasets, working with digital tools, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Your role as a Technology Junior Manager will involve:

 

  • Platform Support & User Assistance
  • Provide day-to-day support to students, alumni, and internal teams using the Career Portal (12Twenty) and related tools
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate when needed
  • Assist in maintaining platform content and ensuring data accuracy
  • Data Management & Quality ControlPerform data cleaning, validation, and consistency checks across systems
  • Manage data uploads, imports, and exports (primarily using Excel)
  • Ensure alignment and synchronization between platforms (e.g., Career Portal, CRM, reporting tools)
  • Reporting & Analytics Support
  • Assist in generating reports and dashboards (e.g., Power BI)
  • Support data extraction, transformation, and preparation for analysis
  • Help monitor key KPIs and performance indicators
  • Project & Process Support
  • Support ongoing projects such as platform migrations, integrations, or feature rollouts
  • Document processes and contribute to improving operational workflows
  • Collaborate with different teams (Employer Relations, Advising, Operations)
  • Testing & Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in testing new features or system updates
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and user experience
  • Provide feedback on system performance and usability

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

 

  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Previous experience in operations, data management, or technology-related roles

Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills (mandatory): strong proficiency working with large datasets, formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables), and data cleaning/structuring. This is a core requirement for the role
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication skills in English (C1 or above)

Tools (nice to have):

  • Power BI or similar reporting tools
  • SQL or basic database knowledge
  • Azure or cloud-based environments
  • CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Career platforms (e.g., 12Twenty, Symplicity)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel expected)
