Your role as a Junior Manager will involve:

    Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University's IE Foundation is looking for a Junior Manager for Development covering Maternity Leave to join its team!

    The Junior Manager for Development will be responsible for supporting IE Foundation’s development and fundraising initiatives during the maternity cover period, ensuring continuity in donor engagement, campaign execution, and cross-departmental coordination. The role combines strong project management, research, analytical and business development skills. 

    We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid - IE Tower. Your role as Junior Manager for Development will involve:

     

    Responsibilities 

    1. Fundraising Campaigns
    • In collaboration with the Director of Donor Relations & Major Gifts, design, implement, and manage fundraising campaigns, including database segmentation, coordination with the Marketing team, and ongoing performance tracking and follow-up.
    1. Donor & Partnership Development
    • Develop and structure tailored collaboration proposals for individual donors and strategic partners, aligning institutional priorities with donors’ and partners’ objectives.
    1. Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
    • Research and identify potential leads through the database and other sources, working closely with the Director of Donor Relations & Major Gifts and the Alumni Relations team.
    • Partner with the Director of Donor Relations & Major Gifts to optimize lead distribution and strengthen overall fundraising capacity and results.
    1. Portfolio Management & Fundraising Execution
    • If appropriate, personally manage a portfolio of prospects and donors, leading fundraising activities with the support of the IE Foundation team.
    1. Cross-functional Coordination
    • Partner with Global Alumni Relations to coordinate engagement and communication processes related to the integration of the Alumni Association and IE Foundation administration into IE Foundation.
    • Partner with other departments to ensure smooth development and execution of planned initiatives.

    Academic Background: 

    • Obligatory Bachelor’s degree, preferred Master's degree. 
    • Obligatory strong project management and coordination skills.
    • Research/prospect identification skills will be highly valued. This includes ability to systematically identify, qualify, and prioritize high-potential individual and corporate prospect donors using the internal database as well as publicly available information as a source.
    • Experience/training in fundraising or business development will be highly valued.
    • Obligatory advanced use of Microsoft Office.
    • Preferred advanced use and knowledge of artificial intelligence tools for process optimization, as well as IT platforms such as Power BI, CRMs or other data analysis and visualization tools. 
    • Strong writing, analysis, and reporting capabilities will be highly valued.

     

    Languages

    • Spanish and English (oral and written).
