Overview

Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University's IE Impact (Segovia) is looking for a Program Coordinator to join its team!

The Program Coordinator must be a team-player, who is comfortable working in a busy environment; excels at time-management; has a positive and proactive mindset; is detail oriented; enjoys interacting with college-aged students; engages with empathy; and is eager to go above and beyond to provide the highest quality learning experience to IEU students.

The Program Coordinator position is a great opportunity for current IEU staff who are assistants and seek a promotion (with the support of their current supervisor). It is also a great opportunity for young professionals who seek to form part of an international team and develop themselves further in an academic institution. It is also a great opportunity for others who perhaps have been out of the workforce for a period and are eager to contribute to our team their maturity and eagerness to work outside of the home.

While the program coordinator position is a junior position, the program coordinators are the motor of the program management team.

What is IE Impact?

IE Impact is the name of the learning journey that IE University has established to equip students with the mindsets, skillsets and toolsets to be innovative problem-solvers who will lead positive change. It is an all-inclusive academic program, consisting of four academic courses, for all IEU students across IEU’s six schools. Essentially, it is IE University’s core curriculum included in and common to all undergraduate bachelor study plans. IE Impact consists of courses in the Humanities, Technology and Entrepreneurship and it centers Diversity and Sustainability.

The learning journey culminates with the IE Challenge, a challenge-based course in which students apply the skillsets they learn, mindsets they develop and knowledge they acquire in the three pillar courses to tackle a real-world challenge that impacts the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The IE Impact Team is responsible for the academic and operational design, coordination and management at both the Segovia and Madrid campuses of all four IE Impact courses (Humanities, Technology with Impact, Entrepreneurial Mindset & Practice, and IE Challenge). The new team member, as Program Coordinator, would join a supportive team of other program coordinators, associate directors, academic directors and academic coordinators, and the Executive Director.
