Overview

Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University's IE Foundation is looking for an Associate Director to join its team!
 
The Associate Director of Scholarships will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and continuously improving the scholarship programs managed by the IE Foundation. Its work will combine advanced operational functions, institutional relations, and strategic inputs to ensure excellence in the experience of fellows and donors, compliance with specific requirements per program, and the efficiency of internal processes.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid - IE Tower.
 

Responsibilities

Your role as Associate Director will involve:

 

Strategic and Operational Program Development: 

  • Develop and implement complex or strategic scholarship programs, ensuring compliance with criteria established by donors and collaborating institutions. 
  • To promote the continuous improvement of the administrative, academic and logistical processes associated with the management of scholarships. 
  • Actively participate in the definition and implementation of new initiatives or programs with international or innovative components. 

 

Relationship with Donors and Stakeholders: 

  • To act as the main point of contact for certain strategic partners (corporations, governments, international foundations). 
  • Coordinate the preparation of selection committees, impact reporting, and institutional communications related to the programs. 
  • Represent the Foundation at events, meetings, and forums related to scholarships and educational access programs. 

 

Innovation and Digital Transformation: 

  • Promote the use of technological tools and artificial intelligence to improve operational efficiency, decision-making and academic follow-up of scholarship recipients. 
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, automated flows, and data analytics related to beneficiary performance and experience. 

 

Internal and Transversal Collaboration: 

  • Work in coordination with the scholarship management team and with other IE University departments (Admissions, Student Services, Financial Aid, Legal, etc.). 
  • Contribute to the strategic alignment of the IE Foundation with the institutional objectives of access, equity and social impact.

 

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

 

Academic Background: 

  • Masters degree preferred. 
  • Postgraduate training in areas such as management, social innovation, project management, and/or administration will be valued. 
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the management of educational programs, institutional cooperation, philanthropy, or coordination of multi-stakeholder initiatives. 
  • Experience in relation to donors or institutional stakeholders. 
  • Advanced management of Excel, Power BI, or other data analysis and visualization tools. 
  • Knowledge in the use of artificial intelligence tools for process optimization. 
  • Excellent strategic writing, analysis, and reporting capabilities. 

 

Languages: 

  • Spanish and English (oral and written).

  • Strategic vision, initiative, interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, and results orientation. 
  • Ability to work in demanding, collaborative environments with a high level of autonomy.
