Overview

Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University's Global Markets is looking for an Senior Associate Director for Los Angeles to join its team!
 

The Senior Associate Director for Los Angeles will play a key role on the North America Global Markets team, leading business development and strategic partnership initiatives while driving recruitment for IE’s senior Master’s degree programs. The role will focus on building relationships with corporate partners, professional organizations, and key stakeholders across the West Coast to expand IE’s market presence, generate qualified leads, and strengthen the pipeline of experienced candidates.

 

Based in Los Angeles, the position will be part of IE’s regional team located in Austin, TX, and will report directly to the Director of IE’s West Coast & Texas Center. The role combines B2B relationship development, market expansion, and senior program recruitment, contributing directly to IE’s growth and brand positioning across North America.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Los Angeles - California.
 

Responsibilities

Your role as a Senior Associate Director (Los Angeles) will involve:
  • Lead business development initiatives across the West Coast, identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with companies, organizations, alumni, and other stakeholders to expand IE’s presence and pipeline of prospective students.
  • Design and execute recruitment strategies for senior Master’s programs across the West Coast and Texas business unit covering: (Texas (TX), Arizona (AZ), Colorado (CO), New Mexico (NM), Utah (UT), Wyoming (WY),California (CA), Washington (WA), Oregon (OR), Nevada (NV), Alaska (AK), Hawaii (HI), Idaho (ID), Montana (MT)) and focusing on experienced professionals and leadership-level candidates.
  • Develop and manage relationships with corporate partners, industry leaders, and institutional stakeholders to promote IE programs and generate qualified leads.
  • Oversee and contribute to innovative marketing and outreach initiatives that support business development goals, strengthen brand visibility, and drive lead generation and student enrollment in North America.
  • Plan and execute high-impact events, company visits, and recruitment activities, including both large-scale engagements and targeted relationship-building initiatives.
  • Use data, market insights, and digital tools to identify opportunities, optimize recruitment pipelines, and inform regional strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams across marketing, admissions, and global markets to align business development and recruitment efforts.
  • Contribute actively to the overall business development and growth strategy for the West Coast & Texas Center and the broader North American market.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • MBA or Master’s Degree from a top university
  • US Work Authorization
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 5+ years of professional experience, with strong preference for business development, partnerships, or marketing roles. Experience in higher education is a plus.
  • Proven experience building and managing relationships across key West Coast industries to drive strategic partnerships and senior‑level recruitment. Key industries include: technology, entertainment & media, consulting, finance, entrepreneurship, real estate, and sustainability.
  • Proficiency with CRM and pipeline‑management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar) to track engagement, analyze lead performance, and support data‑driven recruitment and business development.
  • Familiarity with data analysis, digital marketing, and market research strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys working in an innovative and global environment
  • Native or professional fluency in English required; Spanish strongly preferred but not required

Additional Information

  • The role is based in Los Angeles, with travel required throughout the West Coast & Texas and occasional national or international travel.
  • This is a full-time position with occasional evening and weekend activities.

Salary Range: $100,000- 105,000+ 30% Bonus based on objectives

Schedule & Location

  • Full-time
  • Monday and Friday (Hybrid schedule). Some weekends are required.
