The Social Innovation Center is seeking a part time Academic Director to support the rigor, relevance and practical impact of its work. This role combines strategic vision with hands on execution. The Academic Director will shape the conceptual foundations of our research, learning programs and knowledge exchange networks, while ensuring excellence in delivery and alignment with real world challenges.
The position requires a 50 percent dedication and at least two days per week on campus, with flexibility to be defined.

The Academic Director will report directly to Director of the Center for Social Innovatoin and Sustainability and work closely with the Center team.
Contribute to the development of proposals and strategic partnerships.
Provide content guidance to the Center’s team.
Identify and engage faculty and external experts aligned with the Center’s mission.
Review and refine deliverables in detail, guaranteeing clarity, coherence and quality.
Ensure methodological rigor and practical relevance across all outputs.
Design and supervise the content of research projects, executive education programs and knowledge exchange initiatives.
Credibility and presence to represent the Center in high level forums.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
PhD valued but not required.
Experience collaborating with faculty, researchers and cross functional teams.
Ability to combine intellectual rigor with action orientation.
Strong capacity to move from conceptual design to practical implementation.
Demonstrated experience in applied research, such as policy reports, white papers, sectoral analyses or advisory projects.
Deep expertise in social innovation and sustainability.
