Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University's Business School - Bachelor Programs is looking for a Junior Manager to join its team!
 

The Junior Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational processes and projects and for day-to-day management of the program. This comprises coordinating tasks among various team members; contributing to the execution of guidelines and policies; monitoring logistics and operations; supporting faculty members; and overall responsibility for student experience’s impact regarding Program’s operations – including the direct services by the Program Management and Program Experience team and coordination with all other Schools and various departments to ensure a world-class experience for students in all Undergraduate Programs.

 

The Junior Manager will report to the Associate Director and will interact with Faculty, Students, and different departments across IE University..

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid - IE Tower.

Responsibilities

Your role as a Junior Manager, Undergraduate Pograms will involve:

 

Interaction with Students

  • Regularly meet with students to resolve issues, offer advice, and/or give support with empathy and sensitivity when matters are escalated by Program Coordinators
  • Support students facing academic difficulties or overall challenges with program experience.
  • Identify ways to improve student experience.

Leading and overseeing processes and projects

  • Oversee and coordinate the team tasks to improve operational performance and create synergies with all stakeholders involved in those processes, which include faculty, staff, and student interaction, request their feedback, ensure timely submission of deliverables, and manage escalated matters from assistants and coordinators.
  • Collaborate with other IE Departments on transversal projects to ensure a successful student experience.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • A Master’s degree from a top-ranked university is preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • Bilingual, or advanced proficiency, in English and Spanish (written and oral), with substantial professional experience in both languages.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • The candidate will demonstrate solid customer management skills, ability to work under pressure and high level of accountability.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience in global management education, or working with business schools, is a plus.
  • Candidates must possess a valid EU work permit.
