Position Overview:

As a Program Coordinator at IE University, you will be responsible for the delivery and day-to-day management of projects and activities relating to various programs. This comprises serving as the key interface between students, professors,s and multiple IE departments; coordinating a variety of tasks and program components, managing communication flows; implementing guidelines and policies; supporting program logistics and operations, and supporting faculty members to ensure a world-class experience for our students.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid.
 
Please keep in mind that this position is not currently open; it is designed to identify and connect with talented individuals interested in future opportunities at IE University. By submitting your application, you will be considered for upcoming entry-level Program Assistant roles as they become available.
 

Responsibilities

Your role as a Program Coordinator will involve:
  • Collaborate closely with Associate Directors of the respective program to identify, organize, coordinate, and report on the numerous transversal activities for the program's students.
  • Act as a liaison with Directors, professors and external stakeholders, facilitating the coordination of both curricular and extracurricular activities.
  • Provide support in management, communications, and problem-solving with students and faculty members.
  • Foster collaboration with various departments such as Admissions, Marketing, Communications, Planning, Documentation, Campus Life, Registrar´s Office and Maintenance to ensure the seamless execution of programs, extracurricular, and transversal activities.
  • Act as a contact person for transversal activities such as graduations, openings, etc.
  • Maintain meticulous records and compile information pertaining to various initiatives and special projects.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree is prefferred.
  • Bilingual, or advanced proficiency, in both English and Spanish (written and oral), with substantial professional experience in both languages.
  • 0-3 years of professional experience is required.
  • International experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • The candidate will demonstrate solid customer management skills, the ability to work under pressure, and high level of accountability.
  • Experience in multi-stakeholder environments, as well as excellent communication skills and strong customer orientation, are essential.
  • Candidates must possess a valid EU work permit
