We seek a dynamic Junior Manager to join our  IE Brown and GXMBA team, focusing on Program Operations and Student Experience. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of the department, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating various transversal and extracurricular activities. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adept multitasking skills and meticulous attention to detail, is essential.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid

Responsibilities

Your role as a Junior Manager will involve:
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Director to identify, organize, coordinate, and report on the numerous transversal activities for students.
  • Act as a liaison with Vice Deans, professors and external stakeholders, facilitating the coordination of both curricular and extracurricular activities.
  • Provide support in management, communications, and problem-solving with faculty members.
  • Foster collaboration with various departments such as Admissions, Marketing, Communications, Planning, Documentation, Campus Life, and Maintenance to ensure the seamless execution of programs, extracurricular, and transversal activities.
  • Act as a contact person for external transversal activities such as graduations, openings, etc.
  • Manage expenses and exercise budgetary control.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • Bilingual both English and Spanish.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a leadership role, contributing to a high-functioning team.
  • Prior experience with digital tools, including Blackboard Ultra, Videoconferencing tools, Atenea, and Cytric, is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills to offer support on short, medium, and long-term projects.
  • Proven ability to promptly address concerns, inquiries, and feedback.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic schedule when required.
  • Ability to travel internationally
