The Manager of Global Recruitment reports to the Senior Manager and collaborates closely to design and implement the annual recruitment strategy, aligning it with global market insights, career trends, and a strong candidate experience. This role requires coordination with commercial and academic teams to ensure a candidate-centric approach and to develop innovative, data-driven strategies that attract high-potential talent across management and business programs at both graduate and undergraduate levels. To succeed, the manager must combine strategic thinking, analytical and project management skills with creativity in campaign design and storytelling, strong stakeholder management across international markets, and adaptability in fast-paced environments. Proficiency in marketing automation tools, digital recruitment strategies, and data interpretation is key, alongside excellent communication and mentoring abilities to guide candidates throughout their decision-making process.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid - IE Tower

Responsibilities

Your role as a Manager, Global Recruitment will involve:
  • Sales: Mentor and guide candidates throughout their decision-making process byunderstanding their aspirations, profiles, and goals through diverse communicationchannels such as master fairs, email, videoconferences, phone calls, WhatsApp, and in-person events.
  • Commercial: Plan, develop, and execute strategic initiatives (such as events,conferences, and information sessions) to achieve recruitment and sales objectives withinthe Business & Management portfolio across both graduate and undergraduate levels.
  • Strategy: Produce regular reports and analyses on competitors, market dynamics, careertrends, and economic indicators to ensure a coherent and adaptive recruitment strategythroughout the academic year.
  • International Strategy: Collaborate closely with international recruitment offices to tailorand implement market-specific strategies that address local needs and optimizeconversion performance within the portfolio.
  • Commercial Collaboration: Coordinate recruitment activities with the Marketing andAdmissions teams to align channels, messaging, and impact across the recruitment funnel.
  • Marketing: Ideate, plan, and develop content that highlights the unique value and keyselling points of the IE Experience.
  • Sales Operations: Monitor and forecast sales performance using tools such as Power BIand CRM platforms to track progress toward enrolment targets.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between key internal stakeholders (includingthe Financial Aid, Student Services, Careers, Campus Life, Alumni, and Admissions &Enrollment teams) to ensure alignment and efficiency in the candidate journey.
  • Academic Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with academic counterpartsto ensure the recruitment strategy accurately reflects the programs’ academic valueproposition.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • 5 years minimum of similar work experience in sales, strategy, commercial or business development is preferred as well as a high interest in the education field. 
  • Bilingual in English. Spanish as a second language or native is desirable.
  • Academic background in business, finance, management is preferred.
  • Must exhibit outstanding communication skills, strong teamwork capability and a positive customer-oriented style.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • High level of comfort interacting with potential candidates from all over the world.
  • Must be a visionary problem solver and change agent.
  • Must be strategic, innovative, creative, and embrace new approaches and technology.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to manage resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Flexible work scheduling, may require night and weekend work and some domestic and international travel.
