The Financial Aid Manager – Master’s leads the team responsible for managing all financial aid processes across IE’s master’s programs. This position bridges leadership, analytics, and strategy — combining people management with commercial impact and cross-functional collaboration.
Team Leadership & Operations
• Lead and develop a team of four, fostering a collaborative culture grounded in accountability, innovation, and continuous feedback.
• Lead change management initiatives that streamline processes and scale operations across regions and programs.
• Oversee end-to-end scholarship and loan operations for master’s programs, maintaining accuracy, fairness, and compliance.
• Lead weekly scholarship committees comprised of key internal stakeholders, ensuring rigorous case review and timely decisions.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and innovation within the team.
Commercial & Strategic Impact
• Partner with recruitment and admissions teams to align financial aid strategy with enrollment and class-quality objectives.
• Represent Financial Aid at events and info sessions, communicating IE’s commitment to accessibility and excellence.
• Contribute to commercial and ranking objectives through data-informed funding strategies and impactful communication.
• Support initiatives that enhance diversity, inclusion, and market reach in line with IE’s broader institutional strategy.
Analytical & Strategic Insight
• Analyze financial aid data to identify trends, inform budget decisions, and evaluate impact on recruitment performance.
• Develop reports and dashboards that translate data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Recommend process, policy, and allocation improvements to enhance efficiency and transparency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Coordinate with the other recruitment teams and IE Foundation to ensure consistency in messaging, timing, and execution.
• Contribute to cross-departmental projects that strengthen IE’s market competitiveness and candidate experience.
• Represent Financial Aid in institutional planning committees and working groups, contributing insight to IE’s global strategy.
• 3+ years of previous work experience in financial aid, education, consulting, or a related analytical or commercial field.
• Advanced level of English and Spanish
• An academic background in business, economics, education, or international relations is preferred.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree from a Top University is required.
• Proven experience managing teams, projects, or operations in an international environment.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; proficiency in Excel and Power BI or similar tools.
• Proficiency with CRM and the Microsoft app ecosystem.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with diverse, global audiences.
• Innovative, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with AI-driven tools for process optimization and candidate experience enhancement.
