Marketing Specialist, IE Business School (Temporary)

The Marketing Specialist – IE Business School is responsible for creating and executing strategic marketing plans to promote specialized business, marketing and communication undergraduate and master programs. This role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics, competitor activities, and student needs to develop effective marketing strategies that drive enrollment and program awareness.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid. 

Your role as Marketing Specialist (Temporary) will involve:

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for the program portfolio.
• Work closely with academic departments to understand the unique offerings of each program and develop tailored marketing strategies.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and student insights to refine and enhance marketing strategies for the specified programs.
• Ensure consistent and effective communication of program benefits and unique selling points across all marketing channels.
• Oversee the successful launching of new programs, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns for the assigned programs, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with other program marketers to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing strategies across all programs.
• Implement efficient working methodologies to enhance agility and deliver optimal marketing results.
• Work closely with the Brand and Marketing Leadership Team to ensure alignment with overall brand strategies and drive student enrollment.
• Foster and strengthen collaborative dynamics between all commercial departments involved in the marketing and selling of the assigned programs, ensuring alignment and synergy.

To thrive in this role, you should have: 

• Master’s degree from a top university in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field desirable.
• 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in higher education or a related industry.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with market research and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in developing and executing strategic marketing plans.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong project management skills.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
