Overview

Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University's Business School is looking for a Associate Director for the IMBA (International Masters in Business Administration) to join its team! 

 

The Associate Directors are key members of the program management team and report to the Executive Director. This position will co-supervise and manage a team of one program advisor and 3 assistants.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid

Responsibilities

Your role as Associate Director will involve: 

  • Responsible for the daily management of the Business School programs. 
  • Project management and responsible for a number of projects (Labs, series of conferences, graduation, language classes…) 
  • Interaction with students either orally through meetings and presentations as in writting through newsletters, guides and emails. Maintain a friendly, customer-oriented, proactive approach in this interaction. 
  • Implement and maintain program best practices and policies. 
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with IE stakeholders (professors and other departments). 

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:  

 

  • Master’s degree.  
  • Fluency (written & oral) in English and Spanish is a must. Other languages are a plus. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of operations and/or management experience.   
  • The candidate will demonstrate solid customer management skills, ability to work under pressure and high level of accountability.  
  • Occasional international travel, e.g. on exchanges. 
  • Experience in global management education, or working with business schools, is a plus. 
  • Attention to detail.
