The Global Markets Department is currently seeking a Postgraduate Programs Manager Europe and Central Asia based in Madrid. This position provides an exciting opportunity for ambitious candidates that excel in business development and relationship building in a B2C context.

Responsibilities

Your role as Manager will involve:

  • Responsible for Nordics, Central Asia and Israel markets  
  • Build on and foster awareness of IE in the region 
  • Participate in appropriate recruitment & enrollment activities, including fairs, local or regional presentations, training sessions, orientation programs, career days, etc. 
  • Plan, manage & implement business development and commercial activities for Nordics, Central Asia and Israel to promote IE’s Master and Executive Education programs 
  • Support the Alumni Clubs, coordinate events for Alumni community in the region & identify new members of this growing community. 
  • Increase the number of applications, thereby developing a healthy and steady pipeline of candidates. 
  • Develop new sales & marketing channels along with strategic partnerships with companies, institutions, associations to promote IE’s Master and Executive Education Programs 
  • Benchmark competitors focusing mainly on their commercial activities and program offering 
  • Coordinate with various IE departments to maximise the institution’s recognition 
  • Build a network of contacts to promote & strengthen the IE brand in the region 

Qualifications

To thrive in this role you should have:

Our ideal candidate must have great commercial skills as well as be an advocate of technology usage to manage the candidate experience.  

 

We require:  

  • An MBA or a Masters degree 
  • Legal authorisation to work in Spain 
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, business development, and/or sales 
  • Proficiency in English is fundamental. Knowledge of other European languages would be beneficial 
  • Experience in an international environment. 
  • Proven communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit and commercial drive 
  • Must exhibit strong teamwork capability and a positive customer-oriented style 
  • Analytical and numerical skills 
  • Must be strategic, innovative, creative, and embrace new approaches and technology 
  • Solution-oriented and a positive/can-do attitude 
  • The position requires travel, mainly across Nordics and Central Asia with occasional trips to other countries within Europe & Central Asia. 

 

This position is a part of the Global Markets Department, and the successful candidate would report to the Regional Director of Europe & Central Asia. Performance is measured twice annually, and compensation is reflective of individual and team performance.
