This position is based in Madrid, Spain, and will require contact and coordination between IE offices in North America and IE Headquarters in Madrid.

 

The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Manager for the North America region.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid.  

Responsibilities

Your role as North America Regional Coordinator, Masters Programs will involve: 

  • Act as a liaison between departments and stakeholders in Madrid and the North America team. Serve as a contact person for transversal regional activities and as the North America representative in Spain.
  • Work closely with the Regional Director and Senior Managers to identify, organize, coordinate, and report on the team’s commercial strategy
  • Advise, supervise, and assist regional office coordinators in the US and Canada, providing guidance on the best practices, ensuring alignment with overall regional goals, and facilitating communication between teams.
  • Oversee the successful execution of in-person or virtual events, including logistics such as booking, catering, managing external and internal marketing campaigns, post-event follow-up, and ensuring accurate event information on the platforms.
  • Ensure procurement orders are correctly placed and delivered to the offices.
  • Coordinate agendas, travel arrangements for the team, professors and visits for activities in North America and submit travel and other business-related expenses for reimbursement.
  • Oversee expense reports for different business units to ensure adherence to company policy. Prepare internal expense reports and handling logistical duties to ensure the smooth running of the department (payments, invoices, etc.).
  • Prepare data analysis and presentations needed for the region and work with Fellows on regional projects
  • Lead campus tours and meeting with students, professors, candidates, and families in Madrid and Segovia.
  • Anticipate needs and resolve operational and administrative issues or needs for the team.
  • Serve as a liaison with US Veterans Affairs, leading veteran commercial strategies, and assisting veteran students and their families throughout their studies and beyond.
  • Manage a high volume of emails and respond promptly to internal and external queries.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:  

  • Permission to work and reside in Spain
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Hold a Bachelor´s Degree
  • Have outstanding organizational skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Have a natural ability to creatively solve problems, collaborate and work with others
  • Must be a problem solver who can take initiative, set priorities and work independently under general direction
  • Availability to travel and participate in/host events outside of regular hours.
  • Previous experience in university environment or event planning a plus
