Our Purpose
At IE University we have a purpose “Fostering positive change”, to fulfill this we have made sustainability be at the heart of everything we do, it’s not a secondary consideration. It’s built into the fabric of our objectives, our culture, our programs and the actions of our community. We want to grow the team to continue giving support to our programs, research centers and corporate partners to transition to a low carbon economy and transform the challenges that a changing climate presents into strategic opportunities.
The work carried out by the candidate will typically involve helping the Sustainability team perform third party sustainability assessments, identify climate-related risks and opportunities, propose risk mitigation measures and help explore climate-related opportunities.
We are looking for candidates to join the team with the necessary skillsets to be good consultants: the ability to listen and respond to client needs; to be well organized and able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a healthy work-life balance; to be capable of taking the initiative; to be confident presenting in public; and above all to be passionate about helping organizations and individuals take action to mitigate climate change and adapt to the challenges a changing climate will present.
