Overview

Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University Admin and Accounting is looking for an Customer Billing Assistant to join its team!
 
Your mission is to effectively manage student accounts and provide timely and accurate responses to client inquiries regarding outstanding fees and other issues related to the different companies of the group. To facilitate necessary actions and supervise the income of other departments within the IE group.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid. 

Responsibilities

Your role as a Customer Billing Assistant will involve: 


• Coordinate with Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration Office, and Academic Program Directors for student enrollment and billing.
• Bill services provided by other companies and departments within the IE group.
• Perform accounting tasks related to bank accounts.
• Manage late payments.
• Handle N19, direct debits, refunds, and overpayments for clients.
• Manage donations.
• Provide customer service in person, by phone, and email. Proactively manage received information to resolve payment-related problems and doubts.
• Support audits.
• Assist with monthly and annual closing.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

 

• Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of accounting principles and experience using ERPs and CRMs.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong teamwork skills, ability to multitask, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, customer-oriented approach.
• International profile with work experience in multicultural companies.
