Overview

New York Center Coordinator

We are a leading higher education institution with a strong global presence. We are searching for a New York City Coordinator to join our team to manage daily administrative activities, event planning, and provide sales and student recruitment support.

 

As a the New York Office Coordinator, you will develop a deep expertise of our offered Masters programs and the culture of the institution. You will be capable of identifying and communicating with new lead opportunities (a mix of recent college graduates, young professionals, mid-level executives and senior executives) and support the NYC Office Director in nurturing these leads. You will work most notably with the Master and MBA portfolio, but will be expected to assist in Undergraduate recruitment as well. Daily activities will include outreach and follow up with candidates via email, providing one on one consultations via phone calls, creating marketing campaigns, aiding in data analysis and reporting, and assisting with event planning and execution. You will be expected to attend Masters, MBA, and undergraduate student recruitment fairs and support events (both virtual and in-person) occasionally on evenings and weekends.

 

The ideal candidate is intuitive, has an entrepreneurial spirit, and is able to manage and prioritize work. The candidate is effective at managing relationships and is solutions oriented.

Responsibilities

Requirements

 

  • Hold a valid Associate's or Bachelor´s Degree.
  • 0-3 years of experience.
  • Permission to work and reside in the United States.
  • Have outstanding organizational and administrative skills.
  • Impeccable interpersonal communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Specifically Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
  • Have a natural ability to creatively solve problems, collaborate and work with others, and have a proven track record of exceeding expectations.
  • Must be problem solver who can take initiative, set priorities and work independently under general direction.
  • Previous experience in university environment or event planning a plus.
  • Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

What we offer

Compensation: USD $65,000.00/Yr +10% bonus.

Variable bonus dependent on meeting objectives.

  • $200 monthly transportation stipend.
  • 800 USD monthly towards our health plan with United Healthcare/Oxford.
