Associate Director of Accreditations

 

Are you ready to join a dynamic team of professionals who are revolutionizing the way we learn? IE University Accreditations & Rankings Department is looking for an Associate Director of Accreditations to join its team!

 

IE University is looking for an Associate Director of Accreditations to support the Quality, Accreditations and Rankings Department. In this role you will work in projects both independently and collaboratively with the Head of Quality, Accreditations and Rankings and with the Accreditations’ Junior Manager and Coordinator. The role is suitable for someone with interest in understanding national and international accreditation policies and requirements as well as building data management structures for the purpose of obtaining and maintaining accreditations.

 

On an international level, IE Business School’s programs are accredited Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the EFMD Quality Improvement System and by the Agencia para la Calidad del Sistema Universitario de Castilla y León (ACSUCYL) on the national level.

Responsibilities

Your role as an Associate Director will involve to:

  • Identify synergies between the criteria of the four accrediting agencies. Design and implement solutions to capitalize on them.
  • Manage and drive improvements for existing data-gathering systems and procedures.
  • Consolidate and deepen existing working relationships within the whole institution, bringing them to the next level of excellence and value added for our unit.
  • Promote compliance with internal policies, in line with accreditor standards, and encourage the accreditations team to identify non-compliances.
  • Produce and optimize documents, reports, and presentations to support accreditations processes and initiatives.
  • Be responsible for the timely submission of surveys and follow-up reports required to maintain accreditations.
  • Drive and monitor internal initiatives for improvement required by accrediting agencies.
  • Address academic and professional staff inquiries related to accreditations.
  • Lead strategic and special projects as requested by the head of the unit.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree from a top-ranked university is preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in the higher education sector.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Solid communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to research, analyze and present material clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and a high level of accountability and initiative.
  • International professional experience and exposure to working in multicultural teams.
