Overview

This position provides an exciting opportunity for ambitious candidates that excel in relationship building and business development.

We are seeking a new member of the team that will help us strengthen our B2B links with leading organizations in LATAM. In a general sense, the Corporate Business Development will help further IE’s aim of becoming a strategic partner to top organizations.

Responsibilities

Key Action Areas:

  • Reports to Regional Director and works directly with IE LATAM offices
  • Leverage on the IE Alumni community to enter corporations and institutions
  • Identify top corporations in the region to sign collaboration agreements, including corporate sponsorship for employees.
  • Design and implement the B2B strategy for the assigned priority markets, in alignment with the institutional strategy and priorities in the region.
  • Support companies and institutions in exploring and accessing all available resources at IE
  • Proactively manage the sales funnel for B2B client organizations with the support of all IE departments and their teams.
  • Effectively position the IE brand via carefully chosen channels.
  • Make an effective usage of technology and analytics tools, and available industry data.
  • Be on top of industry data and constantly be on the lookout for indicators of where IE may be able to compete for, and win, B2B client business.
  • Engage with industry and relevant stakeholders’ organizations, by attending conferences, forums, and other events that will provide access to potential client organizations.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree.
  • English (native or bilingual).
  • At least 7 years of professional sales experience, preferably in an international, multilingual environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the marketing and sales functions.
  • Experience in managing a B2B business unit, channel, or company is a plus.
  • Experience building collaborative relationships with key stakeholders – inside and outside the organizations.
  • Experience in corporate training, or the education industry in general, would be highly valuable experience to bring to this role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with several different stakeholders to deliver existing services and co-create new ones. Being able to work autonomously is also important, but the work style at IE is primarily a team-based environment.
  • Capability to absorb large volumes of work with tight deadlines, multi-task and navigate an entrepreneurial culture.
  • Solution-oriented and a positive/can-do attitude.
  • Flexibility and ability to travel throughout LATAM.
