Within the Vice-rectorate for Academic Affairs, the Director of Quality and Accreditation will align the design and the development of official Bachelor, Master and Doctorate programs and University private programs with the requirements of the Spanish regulations and external evaluation processes. This person will also lead the implementation of the University’s Internal Quality Assurance System and the management of the request for data carried out by the regional and national Public Administration and the Agency for the Quality of the University System in Castilla y León (ACSUCyL) to promote continuous improvement at the University educational model.


Key Action Areas:

  • Manage internally and externally the validation, modification and accreditation processes of official Bachelor, Master and Doctorate programs in all their phases.
  • Manage the processes of the University Private Programs regarding their design and development according to current regulations and external evaluation requirements.
  • Be part of the teams that design or review new programs so that the proposals are coherent and operational and consider the regulations that affect them.
  • Coordinate the internal annual monitoring processes of the official programs.
  • Coordinate the appropriate development of Bachelor, Master and Doctorate programs collaborating with the Academic Directors and the relevant departments.
  • Advise the Bachelor, Master and Doctorate teams, as well as other relevant departments that require it, on everything related to the regulations that affect University’s official and private programs and propose improvement plans.
  • Coordinate the collection of information (reports, surveys, data, etc.) indicated by the University's Internal Quality Assurance System that serves as the basis for carrying out the different quality assessment processes.
  • Manage the processes of data delivery to official bodies (Junta de Castilla y León, Community of Madrid, Ministry of Universities, ACSUCyL, etc.), as well as the information required by them at different times of the academic year.
  • Collect the information and carry out the University Annual Report, which includes the main activities and the most relevant data.
  • Collaborate to develop and update the University’s internal regulations.
  • Develop other special projects according to the department´s needs.
  • Assist the Vice-rector for Academic Affairs in the development of their duties.



  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in management of quality systems and processes, and administrative procedures related to educational authorities.
  • Deep knowledge of Spanish educational regulations and the principles and practices of the European Higher Education Area.
  • Proficiency skills in written Spanish regarding administrative and legal documents and fluency in English (written and oral).
  • Master’s degree.
  • Office and data analysis systems.
  • Text revision ability.
  • Teamwork, customer orientation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive and resolute attitude.
