Overview

The Manager of Global Recruitment reports to the Senior Manager. Together, the team crafts the yearly recruitment strategy based on market and career trends, content, and candidate mentoring in order to curate the ideal educational experience for incoming students. The manager must work with the entire commercial and academic teams with a candidate-centric approach. The main goal is to develop innovative and effective recruitment strategies for the general management and business professional pathway in our portfolio for both graduate and undergraduate level.

Responsibilities

The main tasks of this position include:

  • Sales: mentor and assess candidates in their processs of selecting their degree by understanding the candidate's aspirations, profile and goals through various means of communication like email, videoconferences, phone calls etc.
  • Commercial: develop and execute strategic actions (events, conferences, sessions, etc.) to meet the recruitment (sales) objectives for the Marketing, Communication & Sales portfolio area at undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Strategy: generate reports around competitors, markets, career, and economic trends in order to maintain a coherent recruitment strategy during the academic year.
  • Strategy: Collaborate and work closely with the international recruitment team to address the specific market needs for the corresponding part of the portfolio.
  • Commercial: execute and plan all recruitment actions by working together with the marketing team in order to define channels, messaging, and impact.
  • Marketing: planning and ideation of content needed to reflect the key selling points of the IE Experience.
  • Sales: monitor and project the sales evolution with HubSpot, Power BI, CRM among others
  • Stakeholder management: liaise and serve as a common ground for other key recruitment stakeholders like Financial Aid team, Student Services team, Careers, Campus Life, Alumni and Admissions & Enrollment team.
  • Stakeholder management: foster and develop a positive relationship with the academic counterparts in order to reflect our academic value proposition to our candidates.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 3+ yeas of previous work experience in sales, strategy, commercial or business development is preferred as well as a high interest in the field.
  • Fluent in English. Spanish as a second language or native is desirable.
  • Being an IE (or top ranked university) MBA or Master's Alumni is required.
  • Academic background in business, finance, management is preferred.
  • Having an European work permit is preferable.
  • Must exhibit outstanding communication skills, strong teamwork capability and a positive customer-oriented style.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • High level of comfort interacting with potential candidates from all over the world.
  • Must be a visionary problem solver and change agent.
  • Must be strategic, innovative, creative, and embrace new approaches and technology.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to manage resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Flexible work scheduling, may require night and weekend work and some domestic and international travel.
