Overview

IE University is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join the Global Brand & Marketing Department. The primary responsibility for this position is to execute marketing actions to achieve the brand and business objectives of the unit.

The marketing specialist will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager and will create, target, and measure customized consumer experiences that drive loyalty and customer value. This position requires good organizational skills and the ability to handle many projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Key Action Areas:

  • Participate in the development and execution of the existing customer journey landscape to drive marketing conversion across programs related to Science, Technology and Data with the ability to coordinate several projects in parallel at varied stages of development.
  • Learn and operate using an omnichannel approach to develop and execute nurturing marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to understand the customer target, write creative briefs and oversee the campaign set-up process through end-to-end coordination with an external creative agency.
  • Lead internal and external partnerships to launch new campaigns, content, and programs for IE´s audience.
  • Strong focus on tracking and reporting on campaign activity and results to measure their effectiveness and identify improvements for future [cross-marketing] campaigns.
  • Maintain and build the positioning/branding in all executions.
  • Create, implement, and coordinate organic content across marketing channels.
  • Support discussions and activities to ensure the customer experience across the entire journey.
  • Coordinate and implement paid media campaigns together with the corresponding digital teams.
  • Partner closely with product marketing teams, regional teams, academic teams, and development teams to plan multi-channel campaigns and ensure the execution of all communications.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree from a Top University with a focus on Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields is required.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant marketing and/or advertising and/or communications experience, ideally in a company with an international scope.
  • Experience in marketing across multiple channels (specifically digital marketing)
  • Must be eligible to work in Spain.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the Sci-Tech industry or/and international/national organizations.
  • Experience successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with effective strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Persuasive communicator and presenter.
  • Strong organization and ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.
