Overview

The candidate will be supporting the Associate Director in the creation of proposals for business development as well as special online education projects, focused on the private and public sector as well as universities or business schools.

Responsibilities

Key action areas:

  • Develop proposals in coordination with other IE teams, for those business opportunities and special projects identified, focusing on public organizations, universities and companies.
  • Search for new business opportunities to promote IE’s learning materials, Online Programs and Online Solutions with the private and public sector, as well as with associations, educational institutions, and foundations. 
  • Act as a point of contact (being in constant communication) with different stakeholders and other departments involved in the proposals.
  • Develop and manage initiatives for a marketing plan to engage our base of customers of learning materials, as well as potential clients (emailing, webinars, catalog updates).
  • Analyze competition and identify trends in Online Learning, VR, education supported by technology, among other areas.
  • Customer research to identify their needs and habits.
  • Manage IE´s own catalog (revise and upload new learning materials, write and publish posts and prepare metadata).

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A Degree in Communication, Business Administration, Management or related areas such as Marketing, Customer Experience or Sales.
  • Great communication skills (both verbal and written), including the delivery of presentations to clients, while demonstrating poise and professionalism.
  • Experience in educational projects and/or business development, marketing, sales and/or communications positions (desirable in the online education sector) will be positively considered.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships, with a customer-centric focus.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Capability to work within tight deadlines, comfortable using technology and willing to thrive within an entrepreneurial culture.
  • Solution/result-oriented and a positive/can-do attitude; curious, eager to continue learning, detail-oriented and great teamwork skills.
  • EU work permit.

The position is expected to be partly remote, but the candidate should be available to go to campus 3 or 4 days per week.
