Overview

IE University´s School of Science and Technology is seeking for an Executive Director of Innovation Centers and Partnerships based in Madrid (Spain). The candidate will work closely with the the Dean and the Leadership Team of the School.

Responsibilities

Key Action Areas:

  • Development and management of new business partnerships and alliances for the school.
  • Build and enhance relationships with external corporate partners through visits, correspondence and regular communication.
  • Support the execution of high-impact activities to increase the brand awareness.
  • Oversee the creation and management of research centers and labs.
  • Business and diagnostic project development, benchmarking and strategic planning in diverse business sectors.
  • Responsible for creating both internal and external communication deliverables.
  • Defined goals, objectives and metrics for the Innovation Centers and partnerships.
  • Creation and submission of corporate and applied research proposals.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Master´s Degree.
  • Fluency (written & oral) in both English and Spanish.
  • A minimum of 5 years of a proven track record of success in fundraising and/or business development.
  • Experience preparing timely, accurate, and comprehensive written reports and presentations.
  • Ability to work effectively with faculty, researchers, top executives, and community leaders.
  • Advanced analytical skills, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills to build and manage external relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; must meet deadlines.
  • The position is based in Madrid, with travelling to other regions.
