Overview

Provides support to the area of International Partnerships & Alliances. Responsible for the maintenance and control of Partnership Development Activities such as Dual Degrees, B2M agreements, Partner-specific summer programs (pre-college with Brown University), Summer, IEU @ Brown University, Visiting Student Program (B2B), while being the interface between internal stakeholders and partners for operational logistics. Provide data reports along with support and lead on partnership related research and benchmarking projects. This position reports to Director of International Partnerships & Development unit.

Responsibilities

Key action areas:

  • Coordinate internally the Dual Degree (DD) + Bachelor to Master (B2M) Agreements processes with Admissions, Financial Aid, Offices & Program Management teams:
    • Oversee the management of DD + B2M agreements; updates and renewals
    • Communicate new DD + B2M agreements with internal stakeholders
    • Gather data on all DD + B2M for annual report
  • In charge of logistics & execution of Brown University for summer pre-college sessions
    • Organize and support monthly logistics meetings with counterparts at Brown
    • Manage all onsite activities to assure proper execution of program including reservations & ticket purchases, room reservations, sourcing faculty, flight/train booking, agenda preparation, invoices, transportation services, etc.
  • In charge of logistics & execution of the IEU @ Brown University Summer Program
    • Oversee website updates, promotional material & application with marketing
    • Oversee the communication of program with program management teams & the International Mobility Office: sample program, deadlines, application process, etc.
    • Presentation for students during International Mobility Week
    • Point of contact and communication for students enrolled in program: compile & organizing applications and related data files for each student, communicate payment & visa deadlines, Brown University requirements, general rules, processes, agenda and support student inquiries
    • May require travel to Brown University, if needed
  • Oversee & Support Visiting Student Program (B2B)
    • Support director on VSP agreements
    • Benchmark new opportunities across the different regions
    • Prepare bi-annual data analysis & partnership proposal for new partner initiatives
    • Lead/support initial conversations with potential new partners
    • Liaison between admissions with new VSP agreements, and nominations
    • Work with admissions for yearly review
  • Work with administration for billing and invoices
  • Provide support with IE commercial departments in organized partner / academic institutions activities for commercial or strategic purposes
  • Manage general department e-mail, prepare templates for responses pertaining to specific areas of responsibility
  • Effectively communicate deadlines, objectives, concepts, and ideas. Must possess the ability to see the “big picture” behind projects, daily endeavors and transmit this vision to others, particularly when leading a project or working with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, (verbal and written)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Availability to travel 1-2 times per year
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, shortcuts, sorting functions, sorting & filtering data….)
  • Cross-cultural experience
  • Strong project management skills & attention to detail
