The Engagement Coordinator will work as part of a larger team at IE University on community engagement by creating meaningful connections and implementing value-adding initiatives across the recent graduates


Key Action Areas:

  • Implement the engagement strategy for students and recent graduates of the Business School's Masters programs, with a specific focus on ranked programs.
  • Establish meaningful and output related relationships with key students and alumni from the Business School: # conversations held, collection of feedback, using all data to improve services and adapt strategy as required to better engage alumni and meet their needs.
  • Support their fellow Engagement colleagues in working closely with internal departments (e.g Global Alumni Relations, Careers, Campus Life, Executive Education and Program Experience) to identify initiatives that further engage students and alumni.
  • Work closely with internal departments (e.g. Program Experience, Admissions, Talent and Careers) to share feedback, insights and data from alumni on their experience in order to better improve the offer for future students and alumni and drive up the quality and diversity of our future student intakes.
  • Help identify "key player" students/alumni and build and maintain meaningful, trustworthy and positive relationships with them.
  • Work closely with the team to improve efficiency with regards to budget, processes, events, measurement of KPIs and our success and suggest and implement creative and meaningful methods to present these results to higher management.



  • Experience in the education sector and/or community building - a natural connector
  • A Masters level degree is an advantage (a degree from IE is an asset due to culture proximity)
  • Excellent social, communication and relation-building skills with a real gift for creating genuine, lasting, professional relationships
  • Passionate about people and creating a resilient community of alumni, students and faculty
  • Efficient, organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Native English, proficiency in Spanish would be a bonus
