Overview

The Information Technology team is looking for an IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance, both on-site and online, to students, professors, and staff, answering questions, solving technical problems, and maintaining the company’s network, software, and computer and audiovisual equipment.

Responsibilities

Key Action Areas:

  • Give support to the resolution of stakeholders’ technical incidents
  • Understand the needs of different stakeholders in order to identify and specify technical solutions to support them.
  • Installation and configuration of network hardware and software
  • Installation and configuration of peripherals
  • Installation and configuration of videoconference and IP telephony equipment
  • Installation and configuration of audiovisual equipment

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • High level of written and spoken English and Spanish
  • 3 years of experience in IT Support departments, technology or consulting companies is desirable
  • Knowledge of network videoconferencing systems, networks, name servers, tcp/ip stack, routing, and web and mail servers
  • Knowledge of Office 365, Outlook, One drive, SharePoint, Teams, Google Apps and Active Directory
  • Teamworking and problem-solving skills, customer oriented
