IE Law School is a global, diverse and multidisciplinary law school and is looking for a Content and Outreach Manager to design and execute a content and outreach strategy that centralizes the School’s activities and essence to create a strong positioning and deliver clear message and identity that strengthens the School’s purpose.
Content sourcing primarily comes from our rich and diverse community (professors & mentors, students, alumni, partners), one of our biggest assets as is a natural source of impactful stories. This role’s main purpose is to showcase news and stories and ensure they reach across all stakeholders and audiences.
This position is designed for a seasoned leader and natural storyteller who is able to provide a single point of leadership and execution for content creation and outreach, which will also feed on community stories while engaging all stakeholders. You will be a connector of all the points to create a narrative with and for the community; you will orchestrate and work closely with diverse teams at IE University (Communication, Marketing, Global Markets, Centers of Research and all the Schools and transversal departments).
You will be responsible for the design and implementation of community engagement initiatives to increase our digital presence and community building efforts. Your aim is to strengthen engagement, interactions, traffic and growing the fan base among our existing community. The ideal candidate has his/her finger on the pulse of social trends and phenomena and knows how to track, measure and engage with a target community on social media to generate a sense of community and brand value.
Content Strategy, Design & Execution
You will lead the design, execution and continuous improvement of the core processes that will be the School’s communication engine. This includes:
Content Creation & Push: Lead the processes and oversee the management for creating and publishing stories and sourcing/curating content from the School’s diverse stakeholders (students, alumni, faculty, mentors, thought leaders). Develop creative strategies to deliver content to support ongoing narrative utilizing relevant channels to reach key audiences to drive consistency and growth.
Outreach: You will manage multiple communication channels and search for new ones in strategic regions. You will also design and execute the social media content strategy, manage the monthly social media calendars and school’s newsletters, and monitor, analyze and measure social media results.
Brand Impact: Help identify and drive initiatives that will contribute to the School’s global footprint and brand awareness. These might include relationships with well-known third parties, influencers and innovative activities and programs, which can connect with and continue to help build the School’s network through content contribution partners and global thought leaders.
Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding content and communication strategy surrounding them.
Communications Liaising: Lead cross-functional collaboration between internal leadership teams to build a content roadmap to generate engagement and build synergies across the community and relative stakeholders, ensuring coordinated and effective integrated communication that internal stakeholders can leverage.
