Audiovisual Project Manager & Producer (temporary)

This position will be integrated into IE Publishing & High Impact Online Programs Units and will be assigned to the Audiovisual Production team.

The Audiovisual Project Manager & Producer will be responsible for managing the production process and/or producing audiovisual and artistic initiatives, which are part of the development of Executive Education Online Programs, Multimedia Materials, Massive Open Online Programs and other projects.

This person will work together with instructional designers, professors and external providers, these last ones will be producing the videos, animations, designs, actors, etc.

The ideal candidate should have experience managing audiovisual projects and if possible educational audiovisual projects, be very creative, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.

Requirements:

• Degree in a related area, from audiovisual studies to arts & humanities.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• At least three years of proven work experience managing audiovisual projects. If this experience is in education projects it will be a plus. This experience should include:
  • General video production (including post-production).
  • Managing audiovisual teams: Graphic designers, movie editors, camera men, sound specialist, lighting, actors, etc.
  • Creative direction applied in design and video.
  • Experience using Video and Design programs in the Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere, amongst others.
  • Creative skills like scriptwriting, storyboard, sketching, project ideation.

• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and teamwork skill. Good communication & problem-solving skills on critical situations.

Main responsibilities:

• Co-create & design engaging digital learning experiences and course content, working closely with professors, instructional designers, coders and audiovisual teams.
• Be responsible for the recordings and edition of the audiovisual and graphic components of different types of courses such as:
  • Executive education online programs.
  • Multimedia materials (tutorials, multimedia cases and simulations).
  • Massive open online programs (MOOCs).
  • And other online learning resources and courses.
• Manage providers (both companies and freelancers) who will be part of the audiovisual projects.
• Review and run quality checks for the materials and courses produced in order to ensure that the level of quality and rigor is the right one.
• Do research and benchmarking to identify new trends and good practices on the field of video and visuals applied for learning purposes.
